Lokitorrent is now “off the air”. For those who used that site to trade via bittorrent, I guess you’ll have to go elsewhere now. It seems that the MPAA has kicked their butts. Let this be a warning to other torent trackers. Get hosting in a country where you can’t be touched by the greedy ones!
My resoponse to an IM from a friend about this travesty:
MPAA can suck the long one good and hard! Assholes!!! What a bunch of FUD! Robbing 1000s of their livelihood! Whatever! If you download and don’t buy afterwards, how is that any different than watching a trailer and reading reviews before you decide against buying a dvd? If it sucks, you won’t buy it! If its good, you likely will! What about the 1000s without their livelihoods? Do they mean those who make movies? Seems they got paid! It should read, “This site makes sure that you have a chance to evaluate a movie before you waste your money on it based on a deceptive and hyped trailer emphasizing the 3 good scenes in the movie”
Perhaps I got a bit worked up, but you know, I have been auditing the media I purchase for years. They will not stop me now! I refuse to spend money on crap and my only method of rip-off protection is a preview. If they think that they will dupe me into buying something that is total crap, they are totally whacked. I stopped buying an entire album for one song back in about 1980. Fuck off MPAA. Get with the present and sell your crap online! Stream the shit you enslave others to create for your financial gain!

Perhaps I got too aquainted with Mr Alexander Keith this weekend, but this kind of deceptive theivery simply appauls me! The RIAA and CIAA think that we agree with their stance too! Assholes! Take your blank media tax and shove it up your asses! Yes, kind people of the world, we in Canada have been paying a duty on every blank medium for years now. Its supposed to be destined directly for music artists who are signed by major labels. Do you think they see it? If you do, you really need to try an herbal remedy like weed, cos you’re smokin’ the wronng herb! Think of that the next time you burn a copy of DSL, knowing that you just paid an audio tax on that cd. No refund, dude.
Let this be notice. I will continue to evaluate my media before purchase. If you don’t like the possibility I won’t buy your tripe, then don’t produce tripe! Mrasshole out.
